Dato' Wira Ayub Yaakob

The Honorable Dato' Wira Ayub Yaakob is the ex director  at the Department of Crime Prevention and Community Safety of the Royal Malaysian Police. He was born on the 23rd August 1954 in Batang Kali Selangor. He joined the RMP on the  1st of October 1977 as an Inspector and has contributed to the force for 37 years.

During the time, he held various posts including RMP training officer, Home Ministry's development officer,  Head Assistant Director of Logistic Development, Deputy head of the Crime Investigation Department in Negeri Sembilan, Escort to the SPB YDP Agong, Commandant to the PULAPOL, Head of Police for the state of Melaka, Head of Police for the state of Terengganu, Head of Police for the state Pulau Pinang, dan as the NKRA Chairman for RMP. 

During his service tenure, he has attended various policing courses to improve his capability and service quality. One of the course he attended was on International Leadership di Wolfson College.

He is currently one of the Board of Trustee for Yayasan Pengaman Malaysia.
